The twenty-year adventure of Belinda and Larry Wurn to find relief for her and other patients is chronicled in a new book. Miracle Moms, Better Sex, Less Pain, was named for the three areas where the Wurns have seen the greatest success. Profusely illustrated and augmented with 80+ individual patient narratives, Miracle Moms traces the Wurns’ exciting adventure of discovery from the time Belinda was first diagnosed with cervical cancer, through their often unexpected discoveries in treating various health issues. Many of these are conditions for which Western medicine offers no cure except drugs to mask the pain, or surgery – which tends to create more adhesions. They estimate that their non-surgical ‘hands-on’ therapy has eliminated pain or improved function in thousands of complex cases, over the last two decades.

Scientific credibility grew after Dr. Richard King, the Gynecologist Chief of Staff of their local hospital, reviewed some of the Wurns’ patient charts showing success opening totally blocked fallopian tubes using their manual therapy – a result previously only available with surgery. When several women (including the wife of a referring physician) became pregnant despite the diagnosis of blocked fallopian tubes, Dr. King insisted they conduct and publish scientific studies – which they did.

“That’s when patients started coming to us with some surprising results,” Belinda said. “Some of our patients were reporting tremendous relief of menstrual and endometriosis pain. Some women started reporting toe-curling or first-time ever orgasms once they returned home; others were having dramatic increases of desire or lubrication, despite advanced age. These are results we never expected, and that Western medicine has never seen before we started hearing follow-up reports from our patients.
